Using the site

You may use Major Dictionary for free to learn and practise. Please do not post spam, hateful, sexual or illegal content, pretend to be someone else, scrape the site hard enough to slow it down, or try to get into accounts or data that are not yours. We may remove content or close accounts that do.

What you post

You keep the rights to the suggestions, stories, images, decks, palaces and journeys you post. You give Major Dictionary a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, show, format and share them on the site and in its exports for as long as they are posted. Only upload images you have the right to use. Others can vote on what you post, and we may hide or remove it.

Paid journeys

The price is shown before you pay, and payment goes through Stripe. A purchase unlocks that journey for your account. If it is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of buying for a refund. Authors who sell journeys are paid through Stripe; the site keeps 20% of each sale, and authors are responsible for what their journeys say.

No guarantees

The site is provided as it is. Memory techniques work differently for different people, and we do not promise any result. Features may change or stop. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
